The PsychoNeuroEndocrinology (PNE) Lab at University of California Merced takes an interdisciplinary approach to link stress and behavior.
The program of research in the PNE Lab revolves around one central issue: what happens when people perceive stress, and can we influence these stress processes on the biological and psychosocial level?
Specific research lines in the lab include stress recovery, stress and social media, and stress and (meta)cognition. Other areas of interest include illness perceptions and coping, the function of salivary alpha-amylase (sAA), and circadian rhythms.
